Group Delta Consultants, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of our San Diego office, the former operation of Geotechnics, Inc., effective July 31, 2010

Our new facility includes a large, well equipped and fully certified geotechnical and materials testing laboratory that will now manage the quality assurance testing for the $145 million San Vicente Dam Raise project.

In addition to the new San Diego office and certified laboratory, the acquisition includes an office with full geotechnical and materials laboratory in Imperial County (El Centro).

Our new office manager will be Dick Roberts, with senior geotechnical engineers John Theissen and Tom Canady, as well as a staff of over 20 engineers, geologists, technicians, accounting and support personnel will remain from the former company.

Including our new office in Ontario, which we acquired in 2009, Group Delta Consultants is now the fastest growing geotechnical engineering and materials testing company in California. We now have over 100 employees and seven certified laboratories in Southern California.
