The project consisted of elevating Ocean Boulevard at above existing grades to facilitate grade separation and a connector road between Pier S and Pier T.

• Liquefaction potential and resulting settlement and lateral spreading potential
• Liquefaction mitigation at bridge abutments by ground improvements with stone columns
• Design of pile foundations for axial and lateral capacity including pile group effects
• Geotechnical design of a  cantilever CIDH pile wall including lateral loading from bridge abutments
