Materials Testing
Group Delta Consultants has a certified Materials Testing Laboratory to conduct a variety of testing on building materials either on-site or in-house. Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to perform tests in accordance with among others, the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), Caltrans and other applicable standards. Our laboratories are certified by the City of Los Angeles and Caltrans and are accredited by American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Concrete and Cement Reference Laboratory (CCRL). GDC also has certification and accreditations from the California Division of State Architects (DSA) and International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) to fulfill project specific testing needs of our clients. Our services during the construction phase are directed towards compliance of regulatory guidelines. Adherence to specifications is monitored and documented by licensed deputy inspectors. GDC has certified deputy inspectors on staff who are specialized in their respective fields (concrete, structural steel, welding, masonry, NDT etc.)
